The Jordan Restaurant Association (JRA) today issued a critical call to its member restaurants regarding the immediate implementation of updated environmental standards.
This directive follows the official letter received from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (Reference No. 51/1/9121, dated October 1, 2025).
The JRA stresses the urgent need for all members to review the attached environmental criteria immediately and work diligently toward their comprehensive implementation.
"We urge your immediate attention and rigorous commitment to these standards," stated the Association. "This crucial step ensures the sustainability of our sector and reinforces our collective contribution to environmentally responsible tourism. Your compliance today is our future tomorrow."
The Association confirms that adherence to these guidelines is mandatory for maintaining the sector's integrity and supporting Jordan’s image as a destination committed to sustainability.
