In a joint effort to ensure the highest food safety and health standards in the sector, the Jordan Restaurant Association (JRA), in collaboration with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), conducted a specialized two-day training course to enhance the efficiency of regulatory staff. The course, titled "Inspection and Auditing Skills for Food Safety Procedures and Systems in Food Establishments," was attended by JRA General Manager, Ms. Eliana Ja'neini.

The training was led by Engineer Omaima Al-Majthoubi, who focused on the theoretical and methodological aspects of inspections on the first day. Key topics included the reasons and benefits of auditing, how to prepare and execute effective inspection plans, the role of the inspector, and professional report writing skills. On the second day, participants transitioned to practical application, reviewing specialized food safety regulations followed by hands-on exercises to apply the techniques they had learned.

The course was marked by significant positive interaction from the participants, highlighting the regulatory bodies' interest in Aqaba in developing their inspection and auditing skills. This collaboration reflects the commitment of all parties to promoting food safety, which contributes to consumer protection and elevates the quality of food services in the region.
